Turtle Greetings

My fabulous brother in law has turned his hand to making animals from sheet iron and now old iron horseshoes... you can see them at Photogroff !! I was totally inspired by his old iron horse shoe Turtle so I had to drag out my Lucy's Stamp Turtle with the below result:

Kraft Blooms

Landscape or portrait - doesnt matter too much I suppose since I havent added a sentiment.
This stripey wrapping paper caught my eye and when I got it home I realised I had just the bling to go with. The flowers are also from the wrapping paper which is plain on one side...

Materials used: Wrapping paper, Joy! flower dies, sticker strip, bling & cardstock from stash

Baby Petals

Embossed double sided card stock with Stampin Up Plenty Petals ef - then couldn't decide which side to use cos I love the look of the debossed side too... snap - why not cut it in half and use both...

Then of course the colours mean BABY - and I had the ribbon in my stash. The gold stickers are stuck to snippets which are the result from using a Papertrey Ink Coverplate Quatrefoil die [that is a mouthful!!] Amazing how quickly things come together sometimes. And making a "tiny" dent in my stash is very satisfying - should only take a couple of years to use it all up LOL.

Materials used: Stampin Up Petals a Plenty ef; Craft Queen ribbon, snippets from a Papertrey Ink Coverplate Quatrefoil  die, stickers and cardstock from stash.

So I am using up this piece of scrapbooking paper these are cards number 3 & four - and I have enough for at least 2 more... and I still have 2 full sheets left of the same design. In fact I have so much scrapbooking paper its a bit embarrassing - lol - but the old motto "She who dies with the most wins" is very fitting...

Lilly Flowers

While I know these little flowers are not Lillies - the finished result reminds me of Lillies floating on a pond - hence the name Lilly Flowers!

From my snippets collection I cut out the flowers and layered them with a tiny lime bling in each centre. The SU Celery card is recycled from a card I received The white backing card and green main card are from my stash and the Birthday Wishes stamp is an old clear stamp.

I am entering the following challenges this week:
The April Showers/Spring Flowers challenge at Simon Says Stamp
The All that Glitters challenge at CAS-ual Fridays hard to tell but the green & some of my white flowers are made from glitter paper...

Double Whammy

Double whammy time...
I purchased this floral ribbon from Craft Queen at a craft show years ago and now finally feel happy cutting it up!! Then I searched my old old sticker stash for the sentiments. Used an embossing plate that has linen on one side and canvas on the other from Papertrey Ink... so simple and quick I did another one in green...

I am entering the pair into the "Friend" challenge over at Addicted to CAS
and also at CAS on Sunday where the theme is Thank You.

Purple Bloom

Took ages to put this card together - started with yellow birds on white card nope... looked really bad so I grabbed an old ef impression from my stash - you know how you borrow a friends stuff and make mutliples "just in case"... I then painted the flowers purple - yuk that didnt work either...
but no worries just turn it over and start again... and then it finally started to come together LOL. Stick the yellow onto the misstamped white card - add a leftover Stampin Up die cut which was miss stamped at a card party on the back - I love recycling!! I coloured the edges with purple Twinkling H2o's and added a sticker from my stash - then a zig black pen was used to highlight the dots around the die cut. I finally decided to add a flower - so out came a couple of paper flowers, the twinkling H2o's again and some bling from my stash. The stem is part of a Marianne designs die. And there you have it - a fully recycled birthday card!!

I am entering into the following challenges this time:
At Simon Says Stamp it is their 4th Birthday so their challenge is a Birthday or Celebration card
Addicted to Stamps & more challenge #39 - it must be CAS!
