OZ Bird Seasons Greetings

NBUS - Paper Rose Birds of Australia Border Die

I got this die and just had to use it straight away to see what it looked like. I loved it - you can clearly define the cockatoo and the Kookaburra - the little bird at the bottom I'm not sure of - perhaps an aussie budgie 😀
I used a green base card and snippet of chocolate brown card stock. Coloured the birds in Gold zig pen and a sentiment sticker from my stash.

Adding this creation to NBUS Challenge #21 - Never before used Die!

Bluebird Seasons Greetings

Blue blue blue - and a tiny touch of red

NBUS - Retired Stampin Up - All Seasons - Winter Stamp
I got the stamp set years ago and have never ever used them. They have 4 circles with a bird in each one - for all 4 seasons. I made so many cards this year for Christmas htey finally made it out of the box.

Base off white card, snippets of white and navy card for the layers. and Die'sire sentiment die.
Lifestyle Crafts (no longer exist) Nesting Circle and Nesting Scallop Circle dies. In amongst all that blue I decided the bird hat should be red so I used Micador paint pen for that.

I am entering into the Christmas & New Year Bonanza in The Snippets Playground Challenge #393

I am also adding the creations into the NBUS Challenge #21 - Never Before Used Schtuff!

And the CHNC Challenge #521 - where it is always Christmas 😀

Dashie Love

Another Daschund card request - this time I went a slightly more "heartfelt" sentiment.

Found a fabulous die set - Yvonne Creations Christmas Door die set - I used this for the door frame, Trees & pots and wreath + ribbon. The door on the die set opens - I cut the actual door off.  I placed a snippet of cream card inside the door and white glitter paper infill in the top sections of window. The puppy dog die is an unknown brand, The sentiment is from a set of Pet with sympathy stamps made by Our Daily Bread Designs stamped using stayzon in Ganache colour.

Dashie Christmas Greetings

First request for "Daschund" cards received - I have two Dashie crosses so know them oh so well...

The Stampin Up  Ready for Christmas set had the perfect stamps for this.
Stamped images coloured with Derwent watercolour pencils.I only used water on the daschund and then fussy cut him (I am searching for the dies to this Stampin Up set if anyone knows where I can get some at a reasonable cost 😀 - they are of course retired) - the tree was stamped with versacube in green and the table & daschund were stamped with versacube in espresso. The sentiment is a Creative Expressions die using a snippet of red card. Blue, red and clear bling from my stash.

Red Bauble Blue Bauble

Quickly put this together for a card order I received. Created the two versions not knowing which the buyer would choose - they took both LOL!

White hammered base card, Stampin Up celebration label die, Paper Rose layered Bauble die, sentiment die was free on a magazine. I coloured the bauble layer with Brilliance dew drop ink - rubbing the ink pad directly on snippets of white card to ensure a full layer of colour - I then cut the bauble layer and the sentiment out of this inked card.

Upcycled Honey Bee Birthday

I love it when I have cards that were received as junk mail or old bought cards that never get used.

Forever Hearts

Cruising the internet can be costly if I don't reign myself in....

But who can resist such lovely dies as this one filled with hearts.

Dark purple base card, White snippets for the Heart die - which has no brand!
White also for the label which was just a rectangle and I cut the corners with a creative memories corner punch. I coloured the white card with Versamark chalk dewdrop inks before I cut with the die. And the leftover became the label.  The Forever sentiment is an Elizabeth die - which I left white.

I am adding this creation into the NBUS challenge #20 as the dies are both never before used 😀
