WOYWW #635

WOYWW Time over at Stamping Ground hosted by Julia Dunnit

I am just taking photos of random things now... as no crafty things going on. Still want to take part in WOYWW so here we go 😁

Lovely ATC from Anne (Copperbeech Crafts) from our 12 year anniversary celebrations - it doesnt matter how long it takes to get here - I love receiving mail... and very "twilight zone" being a gorgeous almost edible looking strawberry as I had a punnet of berries as my snack on my desk

And lastly in this array of random stuff

Eliza got me this candle a few months ago - it smells divine -
I sniff it every now and again - it isn't for lighting just for smelling 😎

I hope everyone is safe and well - we are in lockdown where we are - Greater South East Brisbane in Australia. They have cancelled a mid week public holiday at short notice which is really silly as it won't change what people can do during a lockdown, and the annual show known as The EKKA (Agricultural and fun) has also been cancelled for the 2nd year in a row. Very minor compared to some countries and circumstances. I am unable to visit Eliza since she moved but we are doing facetime a lot and she has settled in to living alone very well. Hoping to get over there soon to check it all out and take photos.

Til next time lovely people
Stay safe & well
Cheers

  2. SO sad that you can't visit Eliza now that she has finally moved in Maureen. Glad you can at least Facetime though. Hope the numbers drop again so that you are released from your lockdown. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

  3. Hi Maureen. Lovely ATC from Anne - she makes beautiful art work, doesn't she! I do hope your lockdown doesn't last too long and that you can soon get to see Eliza. Blackberries look SO yummy... they aren't ripe yet round here, still flowers on the bushes.
    Take care. God bless.

  4. Than goodness for technology so communication can still take place but it’s not the same as seeing her in real life. I saw some family yesterday who I’ve not seen for three years, it was marvellous!

  5. Sorry to hear about the Lockdown but at least you have Facetime. Things are not much better here now as it seems to be younger people in hospital. Take care and happy belated woyww, Angela x17x

  6. Great news that Eliza is settling well, and shame about the EKKa for another year, let’s hope these sort of things don’t get lost in the future of crowd control which I think is a thing to come. Love that ATC from Anne, she’s a clever gal! Love too that you’re joining in anyway, I’m so sick of pjototing apparent progress in my space rather than something actual, it’s lovely to see whatever you’re doing and definitely need to see what you snack on!

  8. Enjoyed reading and looking at what you have been up to.
I haven't been active on WOYWW for such a long time and I lost my Artistic mojo ages ago. I am hoping for inspiration looking at prolific artists like yourself.

i hope everyone stays well and your lockdown soon lifts

  9. Sorry you can't yet visit Eliza, Maurs, but thank goodness for technology that allows us all to keep in touch with those we love.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  10. Lock down is a necessary pain-in-the-butt, I think. Hopefully it won't last forever. Love that ATC, so delicately coloured and pretty. Shame about the show - hthe Hubster has has Cropredy (the annual Fairport Convention + folk festival)cancelled for the 2nd year. Hopefully it, and your show, will return soon!

    Happy WOYWW.
