Double Bubble in Green & White

Double Bubble

 Using a die cut out and its negative gives me a lot of satisfaction.

Its like using a snippet as soon as it is created.

The above cards created using a die (unknown source) for the scene and a Creative Expressions Greeting die with green & white snippets for the sentiment. Pale Blue versacube and unknown stamp for the snow.

 I attended a Stampin Up Workshop Christmas Extravaganza for the first time in years... It was a lot of fun but I am sooo out of practise using stamps!! Lots of fix ups required when I got home LOL.

Purple Hummingbird Birthday

 Recycling snippets....

I was inspired by the packaging that one of my new dies came in and decided it was good enough to use as a background.  It took me ages to work out what to use with it - then I received some dies in the post.

Firstly the NBUS Happy Birthday die from Creative Expressions, I cut the top half in light purple at the same time as lining up the dark purple to cut the bottom half - snippets come in handy 😁

Then I used another snippet of purple for the NBUS Hummingbird die and the NBUS Floral border die from Jeanine's Art.

Pink Floral Thank You

 What to do when your Big Shot fails...

My big shot has been so fantastic for the last 10 years or so - I just love it but the roller appears to be having issues now when I do intricate or large dies. As is what happened here - only half the cutting plate worked out.  Luckily - when I saw Big Shots on speacial I bought a spare - A4 size this time...😀

White card base, light pink card cut with Taylored Expressions circles cutting plate, glitter washi tape to separate the halves, an old snippet of DP for a label, some pink paper flowers & bling from my stash and a snippet of dark pink card for the Creative Expressions sentiment die.

A very feminine card compared to my last post which was very masculine!

A lot of lovely inspirational cards there and to use up some of the snippets we all collect is fabbo...

Navy & Brown Masculine Thank You

Specifically requested to make a Thank You card by my man (Truck Driver) for his very recent 

ex-Boss - I havent made a card this quick in ages -  about 20 minutes!!!

Happy Birthday Beautiful

 

Was fund making this creation.

White hammered cardstock - I was trying to make a sun in the corner with yellow inks - oh well.

Black snippets for the die cuts and faber castell coloured pencils for the butterfly wings.

Paper Rose Studio dies for the large butterfly, dandelions and the Beautiful sentiment. Small butterfly die was free from a magazine, and the Happy Birthday sentiment die is Kaisercraft.

I am entering into Seize The Birthday with this creation - this challenge is Texture but I am doing an anything goes turnaround 😀

Purple Dreamcatcher Birthday

 Texture Galore...

Had a lot of fun with this one - using an inkpad to do lots of colouring.

I started with a light green base card, and added the textured EF in white.

Next I had a circle die cut out in my "snippet pile" from a previous project and it was bright yellow!

So I decided purple was the colour to go with - 

Then things got a bit messy 😁

Had to go and thoroughly wash my hands at this point!

As I had dream catcher dies I then decided that this circle suited that perfectly.

Once all done it took me ages to decide on plain white sentiments - I tried black, purple, green, yellow - but good old white came to the rescue.

Pink Butterfly Birthday

 Texture & Stickers...

Another card using some stickers from my stash - these butterflys & hearts are vellum stickers from Stickopotamus.  The EF I used has no product identifier on it so have to label it as unknown - I used the deboss for my front panel on pink cardstock. The black Birthday is a Paper Rose Studio die.

White Sparkle Baubles

 Stickers....

I have been cleaning ouit different parts of my stash and giving them to a GF who runs a Salvation Army shop near where I live.  Adapted the old saying "one crafter's stash is another crafter's treasure" 😀 

I still have quite a number of stickers left in my stash, and these white sparkle baubles leant themselves really well to my Dark green shimmer cardstock.  I used a cuttlebug EF for the background, Stickopotamus sparkle bauble stickers, and a snippet of white card for the Creative Expressions Happy Christmas Die.

Shiny Red & Green Ornaments

 

Another EF background done years ago!

6 different dies used for this one pieced together.

Oatmeal card stock base, Cream cardstock embossed, Snippets of dark green Card, 

Shiny red & green paper.

Kaisercraft Bauble die - red,
I did use a bauble die in gold shiny paper but it didnt work out when I stuck it down

Spellbinders doily in Shiny Green over the top, 

Spellbinders Banner die across the top of the card, 

Kaisercraft hanging vine die connecting the baubles to the banner.

Die'sire Christmas sentiment die.

Red Heart Wedding Day

 Once again I never throw things away - this oval with the heart EF (unknown) I did years ago with a few friends when we were copying each others folders. so we knew who had what.

Now I find I am using the embossed items so they are not floating around 😀

Hammered white cardstock, red cardstock already embossed (LOL), White card snippets.

Sentiment by Die'sire and the bells also are supposed to be a card topper by Die'sire.

A tennsy touch of silver kindy glits to the heart in the right hand bell.

I actually lightened the photo as the red cardstock came out very dark and you couldn't see the embossing. It looks fabbo IRL!

Colourful Noel

 I never really throw anything away!  

I embossed the background and coloured it using Twinkling H20"s almost 6 years ago. 

I had it stuck to a canvas as an inspiration board 😎

Well with moving house 3 times since then the inspiration board was cactus - but I saved a few items from it!

Dark purple glossy cardstock, White cardstock, Snippets of white & purple cardstock.
