Borrowed from Amanda - this stamp is causing a few issues - it just wont cling... I had to spritz the block to get the stamp to stay in place but when inking still had to reposition the stamp as it kept moving - I now understand why a stamp press would come in handy but as the stamp isn't very large... needless to say my friend wants to return it as there is no way she would have the patience to ink and stamp this out 100 times for an order she has... its such a pity cos even though I am not religious this is quite a nice image.

Hmmm.... so you don't think it's the image that you put on the stamp? That's what makes me wonder with SU. The stamp back feels quite sticky, until you put that image on the stamp, then it doesn't feel sticky at all. Nice card too :) Cathy x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card - and perfect image for long runs. I agree with Cathy, cetainly SU's images take away the 'cling factor' - something they just don't have right. I use a little dab or two of repositionable tape runner on the stamp's back, Works a treat, it does tend to leave a bit of residue on the back of the stamp but that makes it cling to the inside of the case :)

What a shame you had such problems with the stamp because it is such a lovely Christmas image - love your card - thanks for entering my CHNC challenge extra for July – hope to see you again soon. x
