Peace Smile

I picked up a craft magazine for the first time the other day - they are a bit out of my budget usually - but there was queue at the pharmacist so I browsed while I waited - anyway - attached was a fabulous 6x6 ef of peacocks - there was also a tiny stamp set but the stamps weren't moulded properly so I am thinking of discarding them.... As soon as I was able I ran it through my machine using "aqua" coloured card stock - and I just loved it... but 6x6 - I needed a card base!! Luckily I had a white one and stuck it on the front - then I decided it needed distressing so I used DI Tumbled glass and versa colour Navy - finally my goodness what am I gonna stick in the middle - raiding my stash I came up with some NBUS - so here I have a brand new item and a NBUS item I have had for years....

Materials used: ef from Australian Simply Cards Magazine issue 58, Unity Stamps sentiment, Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass DI, Navy Versa colour, foam tape and Aqua card stock from stash...

I am linking up to the following challenges with this creation

Muse - inspiration pic - I chose the word Smile

Allsorts Challenge Blog Week 220 - use your new stash - my friend Darnell coined the acronym NBUS [never before used stuff] and I have seen it pop up in a few places LOL...
