Children's birthdays - they are really for the kid in all of us

Elephant stamp was free on a magazine years ago - this is it's very first outing 😀

Also NBUS for the Stampin Up sentiment, and the balloon die from wish.

The alpha & number dies are Kaisercraft
Colouring started with tombow pens then went over with chameleon pens - looks way better IRL.

Off white card stock, matted onto bright blue and attached to white base card 6 x 7

 Hi there WOYWWers'

I wasnt going to participate this week apart from popping by a couple of desks but - 

The inspiration and love felt through this group of beautiful souls is so heartening - I am proud to call myself a WOYWWer.

To Deb - beautiful memento of love for Shaz - what a stunning piece for Doug to have a tactile piece of your art to look at for Shaz.

To Shoshi - stay strong lovely - it is a difficult burden to bear but we are all thinking of you and praying for you. Cancer is a bitch!

I am going to try and visit all when I can - I am as you know spending all my time on Eliza's House to have it fully finished for her to move into very soon. 

I can show you the lovely ATC I received from Angela in Lincolnshire - such a treat with sealife die cuts included ...

Funnily enough the sea life theme then continued with another little post surprise received from Wish after getting a refund

I chose these as they reminded me of the artwork in a childrens book about rainbow fish

the scales are all sparkly and my daughter loved the book - I am hoping to replicate the artwork for her
(My daughter is on the spectrum - high functioning Asperger's at 25 moving to her new home will be the first time she will live on her own ☺)

WOYWW #626

 Moving along nicely in the last week - with everything crafty wise ... and Eliza's house wise 😀

The two blanks I had started out with last week

Progressed into the following

and started this week - I am basically just grabbing any unused die and just using it - I have so many it is ridiculous - I have to stop buying and just use

The card on the left is an old Kaisercraft Iris die - I picked up the everyday office highlighters on my desk and coloured it - surprisingly I like it - not stuck down yet - have to decide what the end card will be for. ... The card on the right is a creative expressions die - I love the look of it - now just to decide what it needs to finish off... 

The other "plans" on my desk is an excel diagram I created for the lighting layout fof Eliza's house - Haven't attempted this before so it was an experience 😎 

We are heading over to the house later today to confirm what already exists versus what she wants.

Here is my first ATC & postcard received from the lovely Susan for WOYWW 12th Anniversary  - this is the very first ATC swap I have been a part of so it was really nice to receive and give!

And last but not least - here are the ATC's I made and sent to Susan and 3 other lovely ladies

WOYWW #625

Very late this week - apart from fridge delivery later today and lawyer / real estate/ builder emails to and froing - I have broken a tooth - oh my - the pain... we all have it at some point I suppose - but why is it all at once 😀 Needless to say not much crafting again. I did get to finish my ATC's and posted them off  on Tuesday so Girl's they are a bit late ...

Here is my workspace for the week...

Using my Kitsch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina for the first time with squeezed lemonade - very pretty delicate colours - I attempted to do a couple of ATC's using Mini Pippin for the first time - not successful at all - will need to look at which ink to use for him... I wont publish my actual ATC's til next week 

I was also doing layouts of a couple of other cards for birthdays

And a little surprise arrived - I had ordered these a couple of months ago and they didnt arrive so I got a refund from Wish - and hooray they turned up - am looking forward to using these for my doggie friends

WOYWW #624 (12 years in weeks)

 WOYWW - love being part of it - but not a jot of crafting happened over the last week!

We did however get my beautiful daughter a house and I have been doing the requisition of tiles and a builder and the planning for the renos before she moves in around mid June - so I am consumed with all of that. Plus creating an expenditure spreadsheet to keep track of everything - Project Manager I think is the term 😃 She got herself a beautiful black velvet bed and I just love the photo of her on it

Finally here is my desk

Some choccy croissants to get me through the mornings

work laptop - still havent signd out - 8.30am start and finish - whenever usually round 7pm nowadays

raspberries to the left - they are not very good a bit old and manky - just delivered yesterday so will be requesting a refund for them 😀

I did get a few goodies delivered - including salvaged patina distress ink pad - and guess what - I ordered it twice - so my sister will get one when she visits - or when I visit - whichever happens first.

I do want to participate in the ATC swap - and will work very hard for whoever will be my recipient to get it to you as soon as I can 😎

WOYWW #622

 Hi There,

OMGoodness - I played on WOYWW for a little bit beginning with #204 - my last post being #230 in Oct 2013. People have been viewing my old posts and a few have popped up in my stats - I was really surprised how much I enjoyed taking part 
Having moved house 4 times and now settled in our "forever home" I think I will play again 😀 I am still unpacking since we moved in almost 2 years ago - so much stuff so little time...

You know my motto - She Who Dies With The Most Wins

So here is my workspace - lots of crafty stuff but including working from home now...
Edit: Cannot believe I scored #33 - my favourite number - the omens are good

To the right is my cheap printer which only fires up occasionally for docos needed for work 

The Malteser container actually contains choc peanuts & sultanas and cranberries for a snack - Maltesers just do not last long enough. The yellow bottle is a new brand of hi vitamin C & magnesium low suger lemonade I found yesterday which is quite tasty - but they recommend only 1 a day... may not make any further appearances - cute bottle though 😁

(OOPS - I didnt notice the premix bourbon bottle sitting in the corner - that wont last long either!)

Background - well we all have drawers full of stuff - one day we might explore these further - they sit upon Ikea shelving which are also full of papers, embellishments etc - for another day.

Stampin Up Inks applied with make up brushes, unknown brand die, in a tri-fold black card - just waiting for me to give it the right sentiment...

Moving to the left a box of label dies - my go to for when I add a sentiment directly onto a creation and it goes wonky - and my trusty carousel - had this for years and the contents get shuffled about quite a bit - esp whith the event of make up brushes becoming ink blenders - who knew - still learning...

Blue brochure - we are house hunting for my daughter - hopefully this will be the one!

Background - my drawers know no bounds...

My huge 5x5 ikea shelving has moved every time with me - I can put it together blind folded I reckon

about 13 years old now - and still a mess. A very handy friend's husband made up some ink holders for me to fit the shelving - love them - but I have overflow issues with more ink pads coming out of the woodwork

Moving further left - uncluttered mess - I know what everything is

 - I just havent decided on its final location yet

Lastly - my at hand drawers... Stamps & ink pads and surprise

Lavinia is starting to feature greatly

2021 started with 3 Lavinia stamps - I now own 99 - including a few duplicate mini stamps

I have even started a Craft Supplies spread sheet to try and keep track of it all...

That's it for now - we can explore other areas in the coming weeks whenever I get a chance

Masculine Cards - quite a challenge then I remembered this Stampin Up set - 

These stamps are so crisp and look fabulous - Stampin Up - Game On. Sentiment is a Couture Creations all done in Stayzon Inks.  Tag Die is Mama Elephant and base cards are Black.

The Chess card was a quick make for a 78 year old's birthday 😀

An Aussie Card - Oi Oi Oi!

 Copper glitter washi tape from K-mart, Die of Australia and Kangaroo from Paper Rose as well as the sentiment stamped in Jet Stayzon ink. I think it is quite a masculine card 

If anyone has a Masculine Blog with anything goes challenges would love to know about them

The only one I have is Cardz 4 Guyz and my cards do not always fit their themes.

CAS Heart Border

I did miss valentines day this year - but we can share the love anytime right 💜 

and it is Mother's Day coming up next week here in Australia!

Another unbranded die - the Stamps are Stampin Up - Seasonal Sayings stamped in Stampin Up ink - cant remember what colour 😀 - I am lucky enough to have a grilfriend who had a whole heap of pld Stampin Up stamps she never used so donated to me.

Am sending this one to my Mum!!!

My 2nd ever Lavinia stamp card...

very addictive to viewing all the fabulous creation on the FB page - but it stops me from creating my own...

Close up of the sparkly wings - I find if I take the photo while they are wet it shows up easier

On a side note - I started with 3 Lavinia stamps at the start of 2021 - I now have 95 - and there are 6 more on their way.... so I have heaps of NBUS for sharing 😀

Puppy Friends

So love thinking up new ways to use my stamps!

I cut these little sausages from snippets - around Christmas - finally letting them out to play 😀

Coloured with Derwent watercolours. The stamp set is unbranded, the sentiment is from Kaisercraft the paw heart is from Our Daily Bread.
