Navy & Brown Masculine Thank You

Specifically requested to make a Thank You card by my man (Truck Driver) for his very recent 

ex-Boss - I havent made a card this quick in ages -  about 20 minutes!!! 

There ARE only 4 components to it. Navy square card, Kaisercraft DP, Paper Rose Studios Rope Oval and Creative Expressions sentiment die.

All of the products used are NBUS so I am entering into the NBUS Challenge # 19

Blue Pearl Let It Snow

Happy Birthday Beautiful

 

Was fund making this creation.

White hammered cardstock - I was trying to make a sun in the corner with yellow inks - oh well.

Black snippets for the die cuts and faber castell coloured pencils for the butterfly wings.

Paper Rose Studio dies for the large butterfly, dandelions and the Beautiful sentiment. Small butterfly die was free from a magazine, and the Happy Birthday sentiment die is Kaisercraft.

I am entering into Seize The Birthday with this creation - this challenge is Texture but I am doing an anything goes turnaround 😀

Purple Dreamcatcher Birthday

 Texture Galore...

Had a lot of fun with this one - using an inkpad to do lots of colouring.

I started with a light green base card, and added the textured EF in white.

Next I had a circle die cut out in my "snippet pile" from a previous project and it was bright yellow!

So I decided purple was the colour to go with - 

Then things got a bit messy 😁

Had to go and thoroughly wash my hands at this point!

As I had dream catcher dies I then decided that this circle suited that perfectly.

Once all done it took me ages to decide on plain white sentiments - I tried black, purple, green, yellow - but good old white came to the rescue.

Pink Butterfly Birthday

 Texture & Stickers...

Another card using some stickers from my stash - these butterflys & hearts are vellum stickers from Stickopotamus.  The EF I used has no product identifier on it so have to label it as unknown - I used the deboss for my front panel on pink cardstock. The black Birthday is a Paper Rose Studio die.

White Sparkle Baubles

 Stickers....

I have been cleaning ouit different parts of my stash and giving them to a GF who runs a Salvation Army shop near where I live.  Adapted the old saying "one crafter's stash is another crafter's treasure" 😀 

I still have quite a number of stickers left in my stash, and these white sparkle baubles leant themselves really well to my Dark green shimmer cardstock.  I used a cuttlebug EF for the background, Stickopotamus sparkle bauble stickers, and a snippet of white card for the Creative Expressions Happy Christmas Die.

Shiny Red & Green Ornaments

 

Another EF background done years ago!

6 different dies used for this one pieced together.

Oatmeal card stock base, Cream cardstock embossed, Snippets of dark green Card, 

Shiny red & green paper.

Kaisercraft Bauble die - red,
I did use a bauble die in gold shiny paper but it didnt work out when I stuck it down

Spellbinders doily in Shiny Green over the top, 

Spellbinders Banner die across the top of the card, 

Kaisercraft hanging vine die connecting the baubles to the banner.

Die'sire Christmas sentiment die.

Red Heart Wedding Day

 Once again I never throw things away - this oval with the heart EF (unknown) I did years ago with a few friends when we were copying each others folders. so we knew who had what.

Now I find I am using the embossed items so they are not floating around 😀

Hammered white cardstock, red cardstock already embossed (LOL), White card snippets.

Sentiment by Die'sire and the bells also are supposed to be a card topper by Die'sire.

A tennsy touch of silver kindy glits to the heart in the right hand bell.

I actually lightened the photo as the red cardstock came out very dark and you couldn't see the embossing. It looks fabbo IRL!

Colourful Noel

 I never really throw anything away!  

I embossed the background and coloured it using Twinkling H20"s almost 6 years ago. 

I had it stuck to a canvas as an inspiration board 😎

Well with moving house 3 times since then the inspiration board was cactus - but I saved a few items from it!

Dark purple glossy cardstock, White cardstock, Snippets of white & purple cardstock.

Babydoll Pink Congratulations

 Almost feels like cheating when you add a 3d sticker - but this was just too adorable!

Have a GF expecting a girl on 03/11/2020 - very excited.

Pink base cardstock and white card stock snippets

The 3d sticker has been in my stash for years.

Pink Birthday Flowers

 Really enjoyed using NBS Dies and EF for this one. The EF was so pretty.And all of them NBUS!!

Oatmeal base card stock, Snippet white for the Darice EF, Snippets of dark green, pinks & yellow card for the flowers. Kaisercraft floral die - Creative Expressions Sentiment die. A touch of clear kindyglitz in the flower centres for sparkle 😁

Rose Shimmer Birthday

 I found these washi tapes in Kmart a little while ago - in their own cute tubes - great for storage - finally using some!!

I had an old unused square birthday card - really quite large - but the image just wasnt what I would normally use - so I re-cycled

A full square of 6x6 DP to cover the original image on both front & back.
Then I placed a (NBUS) Creative Expressions - Lisa Horton - Teardrop Daisies die cut in black card stock on top - adhering at the edges only. I used the (NBUS) rose glitter washi tape around the side of this. and added pink bling from my stash. Cut a label die - source unknown - from a snippet of card - matching the colour to the base card as closely as I could. The (NBUS) Kaisercraft happy birthday die was the last thing to add.

White & Silver Peace Christmas

 The most basic of items with what I think is a stunning result!

Shiny silver card stock, White snippet cardstock, Large A5 sized EF cut down to fit the card front - brand unknown - I may have received it free in a magazine - I used to buy lots of those. Silver signo gel pen used around the centre - along the dots and on a couple of the snowflakes at the bottom of the card.

B&W Dandelions

I have started sending images of the cards I create to friends on FB when they have a birthday.

It seems to be well received - considering it costs nothing but a few minutes - and it means my creations are actually seen by more people 😍 

Black Tri-card with square front, snippets of white card from my ever growing stash.

Paper Rose Studio Dandelion die and butterfly die. Sentiment die from Creative Expressions.

Put together with craft glue and Voila!!

Citrus Get Well

 So named from the 3 citrus colours used - Lemon, (Dark) Lime & Orange 😀

The last few months have been sorting and organising my craft space / office - working from home means I am in this room more than any other nowadays. 

Finding lots of forgotten stash - plus buying heaps more after a hiatus of almost 5 years has been so refreshing and my creative juices are flowing.

Focus lately on just my dies and some EF - but am heading towards my stamps and inks in the coming weeks - I find creating with dies so quick - stamps take a little more concentration 😎

Oatmeal Tri-Card base with oval face - the brown background is packaging from die from Paper Rose Studio - I hardly ever throw decent sized card away!

Flower die is Tim Holtz, Dragon fly die is Fancy That, Butterfly die is from a Creative Expressions set.

Get well sentiment die is also from Creative Expressions.

Not enetring into any challenges with this one - Just using my blog to be creative

Silent Night Horse

Inks used again ... 

Brown Card stock, I had the light brown card stock with the corners punched out in my snippets stash for years. When I got the Paper Rose Studio Man on Horse die (NBUS) I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I took a snippet of white card and inked it up (used the same colours as in a previous project). Always looking to use everything I possibly can. Used for the background and then cut the Silent Night sentiment  unknown - (NBUS) from it as well. 

Put it all together using craft glue.

Die Cut Divas - You can enter up to 4 times per challenge 

It is actually an Autumn Challenge at the moment so my ink colours are perfect!

Sunny Birthday Wishes

 I used some of my Inks for the first time in 5 years on this one.

Brown card stock used for another project created the circle in the front of this card and I thought well what do I do now...

I have lots of NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff) and decided on a filigree octagonal die - which from memory I received free in a magazine!

I used snippets of white card and ran my paintbox inks over the card.  

I have had the paintbox for years and years 

I was very surprised they didnt crumble in my hands: 

Once the ink was dry I die cut the filigree die and the Creative Expressions sentiments die.

Placed them - adhered with craft glue. Then using yellow bling from my stash finished them off.

Traditional Red & Green Wreath with Bling

Another borrowed die from a GF - this time the Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Holly Octagonal Frame.  Dark green shimmer card stock, snippets of bright green card, and bling bling bling from my stash.   Die'sire words die Seasons Greetings.

Telluride Snowflake Wand - Variations on a theme

 I loved the Telluride Die so much I played around with colour variations... pretty spectacular!!!

Not so traditional but quite pretty IRL.

I then went on to finish off the cards
