Rudolph Day October 2013

Whew - almost didn't get to make it this month with everything going on - but managed to do a quick few Chrissy cards and this one is to join in on Rudolph Day over at Sarn's Blog - Stamping For Pleasure...

The embellishment was attached to some superb Christmas Bon Bon's last year at dinner with my cousin - luckily I managed to scrounge a few of these... the yellow jewels look way brighter IRL...
Sizzix ef and sticker sentiment from stash.

I coloured the top half in French Vanilla H20's as I accidentally squirted some glue in the wrong place!!

Thanks for stopping by... Mxx

  1. Gorgeous Mo - I think the glue was a happy mistake - the French Vanilla H2O works beautifully. And what treasures you snaffled last Christmas too!

  3. Might be there to cover up a mistake but it really sets off the rest of the card. They must have been quite some crackers. We only ever had plastic gimmicks in ours. Hugs Mrs A.

  4. Loved your golden poinsettia jewel, and your yellow jewels looked quite sparkly on my monitor. Love that EF you chose, and what a fantastic save on your glue boo-boo. (Try covering up blood! Even after you blot it off, still shows!). If you had not mentioned the glue, I would just have thought 'vintage look', as it is very pretty. Clever you! TFS & Hugs

  5. I did not guess glue. Nowadays, everyone is distressing and inking and shading...I thought that was what it was...you could always add more of different shades and then it would blend with hat.
    Lovely card!
