Shabby Chic

My first experiment with blending pens - very pale yellows and I found this freebie DP to use as the background...

Am not happy with the pic - it looks way subtler IRL... I used a unity stamp flower with versamark and clear ep which gave me a very pale outline to colour - using my new Kaiserfusion pens in yellow to colour and an orange Tombow for the dots. The dp was free in a magazine and the ribbon is from the shoulders of a shirt. The base card and silver sentiment sticker from stash.

I am linking up to the following challenges with this creation

Pixies Crafty Snippets Playground Week 92 - just use snippets on your creations - I stamped my flower on a white snippet...

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Going Dotty - my dp has some lovely subtle dots on it...

The Paper Players "Tic Tac Toe" - I used Ribbon, Designer Paper and Birthday...

Thanks for stopping by... Mxx

  3. That is a lovely soft, muted background for your pretty flower to sit on.I think we all have times when the photograph really doesn't do justice to the " real" life card-but yours certainly looks fie to me :)
