I splurged - I deserve it I reckon... I started with Kaiserfusion pens in yellow with an added blender pen & black a couple of weeks ago just to see how they felt and they are great so today I went ahead and got the pinks, reds, greens & purples....
Have already set them up in storage containers from the local $2 shop decorated some with their relative coloured flowers - just the purple to do... I have added my tombows to them as well so all the colours are in one place.. the two larger storage containers underneath - one holds colour charts and blender cardstock and the other holds a new envelope making thingy that I got at the show - will demo one day...
And now to show you a different desk this week... my daughter is getting just a bit excited as Supernova gets closer - its the OZ version of Comicon - comicbook convention and sci-fi freaks attend in costumes and it is a heap of fun!! I seriously do not remember the characters name that she is going as - its some Japanese anime guy who is a skeleton!! The costume entails a white shirt with floppy extra long ruffled cuffs, a black suit jacket, red pants with white flowers all over them - which I am painting... a black afro wig with a white hat topped with a gold crown!!! A purple cravat and cane - and his face is a skull with yellow glasses and red lenses - its bee a bit of effort to get all the pieces together... here are the pants in progress...
I will try and get a pic of her all dressed up - I personally think she is gonna be very warm in it all but she is determined LOL...
If you would like to visit a few other creative workspaces head on over to Stamping Ground where Julia Dunnit - our lovely hostess has all the goss...
Thanks for stopping by... Mxx

ReplyDeleteCan't believe your Dell died after only 4 years. I have a Dell laptop and I'm sure I have had it longer than that, but then my hubby does keep it up to date and serviced. I'm happy with my laptop for day to day, the nexus tablet is an addition so I could use APPs and be able to use it out for geocaching and now I seem to watch BBC News on it whilst cooking which is cool too. We have Wi-Fi in the house so I haven't incurred any mobile data usage as yet, in fact it doesn't have a sim as yet.
ReplyDeleteAnyway love the sewing and look forward to seeing the full costume as I have no idea who/what it is - LOL - BJ #50
Well, first of all, you know I love how you are sorting your markers by their color family. It has worked so well for me for over a decade. Secondly, holy sci fi with that fabulous costume, Maureen! You MUST get a photo for us to see when she is completely dressed!! Happy Belated WOYWW! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThe marker storage looks super fab! Can't wait to see the pics of her in the costume. :) Thanks for sharing your wip and stopping by and leaving me a sweet comment already! Deeyll #107
