Hi there WOYWWers'
I wasnt going to participate this week apart from popping by a couple of desks but -
The inspiration and love felt through this group of beautiful souls is so heartening - I am proud to call myself a WOYWWer.
To Deb - beautiful memento of love for Shaz - what a stunning piece for Doug to have a tactile piece of your art to look at for Shaz.
To Shoshi - stay strong lovely - it is a difficult burden to bear but we are all thinking of you and praying for you. Cancer is a bitch!
I am going to try and visit all when I can - I am as you know spending all my time on Eliza's House to have it fully finished for her to move into very soon.
I can show you the lovely ATC I received from Angela in Lincolnshire - such a treat with sealife die cuts included ...
(My daughter is on the spectrum - high functioning Asperger's at 25 moving to her new home will be the first time she will live on her own ☺)
Thank you so much for your special mention, Maurs, and for your very sweet comment on my blog. I so appreciate it. Everyone is being so supportive and encouraging. I am sure I shall be fine - keeping strong, keeping my eyes on Jesus!! We will know more after the MRI next Wednesday. The main thing is that I really don't want to have to have chemo but they won't know that till after the surgery. It was so horrible the last time but at least I didn't lose my hair with that - but I mustn't think too far ahead! One day at a time is the way. I am still feeling very calm and peaceful about it all.
ReplyDeleteNever say "the only thing I can do is pray" - praying is the most important thing!! It's easy to feel helpless but that is very powerful. I feel carried along on a tide of prayer.
Lovely happy mail you've received this week! I love anything with a sea theme. All the best to your daughter as she embarks on her new life in her own home. Will she be living near to you? I am sure she will love the fish artwork - hope you will share it with us too.
Happy WOYWW, Maurs, and thank you again!
God bless,

Just got your second comment, Maurs - thank you, and thanks for making me laugh! What a thought... Really, I'm in serious danger of becoming completely boob-obsessed through all this! I was thinking the other day, if I have to have a mastectomy and they do a reconstruction, will they give me a droopy boob to match the other one, or would they be kind enough to give me a lift on both sides? I'd hate to be one-up and one-down lol!

ReplyDeleteFab little fishes - I can recall some lovely books that they reminded me of, Commotion in the Ocean was one, the angelfish page used to make me laugh every time. Best wishes on the house move for your daughter - my 12 year old is being lined up for testing for ASD, as am I to go along with my ADHD! Bye for now, Lisa-Jane #8
ReplyDeleteLove those fish dies, happy WOYWW Angela #12
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with getting the house ready - those fish could be used as decorations on the wall along with the 'sealife' stuff Angela sent you.
ReplyDeleteSlow down, take a breath and look after yourself.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx

Marit #20 (P.S. Cataract surgery went very well, I am in the healing mode right now but am able to spend some time at the computer... and I can SEE well, yay!!! )
ReplyDeleteHi Maureen. Pleased you liked the ATC, who knows maybe you could combine some of my die cuts with those gorgeous little fish you've received they are so sweet. Glad you decided to join us this week but you just have to get on with other stuff sometimes and we all know that. Have a lovely woywweekend (think that works okay!). Hugs Angela xXx

I have a dolphin die cut(sez me remembering!) The die cut cut out on play paper looks like one of those big lipped fish, so it's kind of two fishes in one . will look out to see what you make with them! Keep Crafting! Stay Safe. Happy Very late last weeks woyww!? ((Lyn)) #26
