WOYWW #626

Moving along nicely in the last week - with everything crafty wise ... and Eliza's house wise πŸ˜€

The two blanks I had started out with last week

Progressed into the following

and started this week - I am basically just grabbing any unused die and just using it - I have so many it is ridiculous - I have to stop buying and just use

The card on the left is an old Kaisercraft Iris die - I picked up the everyday office highlighters on my desk and coloured it - surprisingly I like it - not stuck down yet - have to decide what the end card will be for. ... The card on the right is a creative expressions die - I love the look of it - now just to decide what it needs to finish off...

The other "plans" on my desk is an excel diagram I created for the lighting layout fof Eliza's house - Haven't attempted this before so it was an experience 😎
We are heading over to the house later today to confirm what already exists versus what she wants.

Here is my first ATC & postcard received from the lovely Susan for WOYWW 12th Anniversary  - this is the very first ATC swap I have been a part of so it was really nice to receive and give!

And last but not least - here are the ATC's I made and sent to Susan and 3 other lovely ladies

Stay safe & well everyone - see you next week
Cheers

  2. I really like the idea of just grabbing random dies, like you I have so many probably a double or two amongst them too. The spiral is a super design. Really enjoying seeing the anniversary Atc's, so sorry to have missed it. The house planning sounds so exciting.

  7. Hi Maurs,
Lovely progression from one card die cuts into two completely finished cards with more colours dies on them too.. well done.
Mm grabbing any unused due and using it.. that certainly is random, but am flat out doing what must be done to do what may not eventuate to anything as well. However if had more time that’s a grand idea. BTW I’m your latest encourager on your blog πŸ˜ƒ❤️
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x

  8. Your ATCs are really sweet! Lucky recipients. And well done on using the unused dies! We could all do with a bit more of that....

    :)

  9. Your die cuts are lovely, Maurs - well done using the old ones! It's so tempting buying stuff, isn't it, and then not using it! I've got quite a bit of stash like that in my studio. Nice to see the blanks and the resulting transformations too. You are very clever to design a lighting plan! I'm impressed. The diagram looks very professional.

Thank you for your visit. The knitting bag is pretty good, isn't it! Thank you for your good wishes for my biopsy results too. They phoned me this a.m. and want me to go in to discuss them tomorrow morning.

    Happy WOYWW,

  10. Lovely ATCs! I think most of us have a lot of unused stuff, I know I do, especially dies. Hard to resist sometimes though lol Happy WOYWW Elle #27, EOTC

  11. Oh brilliant ATCs Maura, I never thought to use an open work die like that. Love the way the cards have morphed from the white cut outs, great job. Especially as your so busy. Am super impressed at the lighting blueprint for Eliza’s house, blimey that’s a very clever thing to do on the computer.

  12. Hi Maurs, I have to be honest I've been out Lol! We have a friend who is going into hospital soon and our little group of retired teachers just wanted to wish her all the best so we sat and had coffee but I'm back now. The ATCs look great and I'm sure they are winging their way to their new home. Good luck with the lighting plan too. Wishing you a very happy woyww and a lovely week too. Angela x13x

  14. Love the ATC's you made - was that texture paste on them?
You can never have too many dies, just enjoy using them. I had a sort out the other day and gave one or two to a friend new to crafting.
