What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday is here again...
If you want to visit artistic desks across the world pop on over to Julia Dunnit's Stamping Ground...
My crafty space didnt get much attention this week
Julia had a gorgeous photo of Murphy - relaxing..so I thought I would pop my 2 fur babies in here
not a great photo technically but oh so cutesy
Eliza House is taking shape 😀
Tiling is being done this week - then electrical fitout to be completed - and we are nearly there
It is looking really good.
I love mandalas - and colouring in - since childhood - like most of us I would presume
This is a pre printed canvas done with paint pens when the mood strikes
It's like therapy and helps me settle when I am stressed or frustrated
I added the orange colour this week
Thats it for me this week
Stay safe & well all
Cheers
Maurs xxx
You say you've not had much crafty time but you've been working so hard on Eliza's house, it's coming along fabulously, great work. I love mandala's too so relaxing to colour in.
ReplyDeleteCute fur babies, your making me want to add one of my own now.. Maybe next week. Happy WoywW Tracey x
I'm pet deprived so I love seeing the furry creative helpers! Robyn 5

ReplyDeleteyes, the house is coming on well! the mandala looks great Have a great week Helen #11
ReplyDeleteLove the fur babies photo. So cute. Eliza's house is really taking shape, and I know you are thrilled.
ReplyDeleteI HATE coloring. I grab the coloring piece too tight and it makes my hand go numb. It is relaxing for some, maybe, but it is pure torture for me. So glad you like making these. Happy WOYWW from # 12.
What a great thing Maurs, to be able to just add some colour to the canvas and then pop it back on the stand for when time or need permits, I really admire that part of you that doesn’t just rush to get it finished and done…it’s a problem I have, and then I ruin stuff! Your fur babies look so cute..those sticky up ears are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. Loving the progress at Eliza's house. It is so satisfying when the end is nearly there. We are only just starting at our new rental house, and it will get a lot worse for a while when builder is knocking down walls etc! We only have our old house cat as a pet in the house now, and it does seem very quiet in my craft room. Ali x #15
ReplyDeleteLove the dogs, they made me laugh! That canvas is a great idea and you are so good, just doing it a bit at a time, I don’t know if I could leave it …bit like chocolate really….

Your space looks pretty tidy. You will be so happy when all the work is done and your daughter can sit back and enjoy it and you can devote all you time to craftiness :D Love the mandala, so pretty
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

You are making progress! that is very impressive and loving the photos of the dogs they look as though they are hiding just in case you find them some work to do Lol! Wishing you a very happy and hopefully creative woyww, Angela x23x
ReplyDeleteHouse definitely coming along and that's a beautiful mandala. TFS your two cuties as well! Have a good week, stay safe, stay well, love n hugs Cindy #18
ReplyDeleteAw, such cute fur babies! I love Mandalas too, so relaxing to have something you can just dip in and out of when you have a few spare minutes from working on the house - which looks like it's taking up a lot of your time at the moment!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week,
Diana xx #28
You'll always get my attention with fur babies! So cute hiding behind the bed sheets! How exciting for your daughter to get a place of her own - I remember moving into my first flat that wasn't rented - my parents helped me a lot too. Lovely mandala - I agree about colouring being therapeutic - have you tried diamond paining? I find that so relaxing! Happy WOYWW Maureen! xx zsuzsa #31
ReplyDeleteWow, the house is coming along!! I love revamping!! Your fur babies are tooooooo cute! I don't have any at the moment, but one day again, I hope! Your craft space is divine! I love how everything has it's place! I need some pointers! LOLOL I love mandalas too! I like to draw them, paint them, dot paint them, you name it, I love it! This one is lovey! Here's hoping the rest of your week is blessed! Felicia #30
ReplyDeleteLoving your fur babies - very cute indeed. Eliza's house is coming together - ours is still a complete bombsite and likely to remain so for sometime sadly. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, with love & God bless, Caro xxx (#29)
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing people's fur babies, Maurs, and yours are really cute! (For cuteness overload, take a look at my blog this week...) The building work looks as if it is coming on really well. Awful living amongst dust and chaos but fabulous once it's all done! It's a bit like my cancer - it has to get worse before it gets better - I don't feel ill at all at the moment but just wait till the doctors get hold of me lol! I love mandalas too and have designed quite a few on my iPad. They are very relaxing to colour. The one you showed us is really lovely. It's fun building up the concentric rings and making the designs ever more elaborate.
ReplyDeleteAs for your room, I think I've got drawer envy. What fabulous storage!
Happy WOYWW,
