WOYWW #634

Another week flies by with no crafty stuff happening... this of course does not mean I / we were not busy!  Here is my work space

Paper work for Eliza House - even though she doesn't have a mortgage we had to explain that the bills will keep coming: Body Corporate, rates, water, electricity, internet...
I am also working through the warranties for all her new appliances:
A/C unit, dishwasher, dryer, oven, cook top, exhaust fan, TV, etc
My purse, glasses case and the obligatory face mask atop of the pile of paper work

My work earphones sporting the "busy bee" guide Eliza gave me
- it helps protect your cord where it plugs in to your phone.
A good old fashioned jar of vicks - am finally getting over my cold!
The lindt salted caramel square is the last from a packet bought 2 weeks ago
 - I don't know how it lasted this long 😎

Had to fire up my little printer for work this morning...
which meant finally moving all my stuff off and putting it all away

I will try again to pop round for a visit when I can
If you would like to join in the What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday fun head over to

Stay safe & well all
Cheers

WOYWW # 633

A really quick photo filled turn around this week - Pop on over to Julia Dunnits Stamping Ground for all the goss

No crafting due to Eliza House stuff - Gary has been flat out with tiling, grouting, flat packing etc
- its now Thursday!  Here is my desk right now...

Last weeks cards & mail on the printer

Gary made me breakfast - pumpkin seed rolls with Bacon, Cheese & Tomato - Yum

Here is more photos of the Eliza House project
We decided to use the same tiles on the splash back as the floor and they look fabulous
Vanity in the bathroom

Tilers debris - we had to hire a skip to take it all away...
The work has progressed now to the point where movers came on Wednesday to relocate most of Eliza's belongings - but as both of us have had a really bad cold she is still with us for a few more days - packing clothes and kitchen stuff.
Promise - next lot of photos will be the finished result 😎

And good news this time from the family in Kent - Gary's parents did get covid but very mild due to them being fully vaccinated. His Nephew is ok - apparently still able to work - at a distance.
I wanted to share one photo from the wedding - the stunning dress

I hope you are all safe and well
Have a great week

Cheers

WOYWW #632

Hi All - it's WOYWW Time again - popping around to visit the workdesks of artistic and crafty people around the world! If you would like to join in pop on over to Julia Dunnit's Stamping Ground 😀

A bit of crafting this week with 4 cards made using my "Randomly Using Dies" technique -

I found this image of a Leadlight Dalek on someone's FB profile and I love it

Eliza House is still in the tiling phase - apparently the trade was unwell so missed a few days
- grouting to be completed then I will make a visit again to check it all out.

Received upsetting news yesterday - my partner Gary's family had his nieces wedding last week - the photos are stunning - everyone in red & white - however Covid has been detected throughout the guests. His 26 year old nephew is positive, his 80 year old parents who are both fully vaccinated are waiting for their results - his father sounds dreadful over the phone.   You can't blame anyone - no-one knows if they have it at the start and it spreads like wildfire. They live in Kent - UK.
We are praying and hoping everyone comes out of it the other side.
Unrelated to the wedding - his "favourite" auntie has passed - so its a very sad and stressful time

Stay safe & well everyone
Cheers

Purple Dove Christmas

I have been messing about with the idea of "Using Random Dies" - I have so many I decided I just need to grab one - at random -  at least weekly 😀  So here is my first one

Rummaging around I found Bling sheet stickers and adhered this to a card base, Paper Rose sentiment die and I believe the dove was free on a magazine cover.

I am entering this creation into the following challenges

Die cuts using snippets of white & purple

Sentiment die never before used

Its Christmas card time

Stay safe & well All

WOYWW #631

 Happy WOYWW Day!!!

Whats on your workdesk Wednesday - an online blog hop to check out crafty peoples work spaces every Wednesday - pop on over to Julia Dunnit's Stamping Ground and check it out 😀

I was very lucky to receive one of Deb's (tatteredrocks) beautiful tributes to Shaz in the mail last Friday

Just beautiful IRL - and anyone who see's it is in awe Thank You Deb xxx

As you know my time has been spent on Eliza's House in the past few weeks and we are nearing the final steps: Tiling in the lounge room and bedroom

Just a few finish offs electrically and kitchen wise and we can start the move in 😀

I did finally get to work on a few cards

Those little fish dies turned out a bit cute - I used liquid pearls for the fins after covering blue card snippets with silver ink. Coloured card snippets for the other fish and plants etc and DP in the background. The other dies are from Creative Expressions incl the sentiment.

I am entering my You're Fintastic card into the following challenges
NBUS # 28 - Never Before Used Schtuff 😎
Pixies Snippets Playground #406 - lots of snippets on my Fintastic Card

This card I have called Pink with Love - I recut the die I had shown previously as it didnt cut all the way through and I got brand new plates for my Big Shot which has solved the problem.
A bit of DP along top and bottom - Stampin Up inks brushed underneath the die to add a fuller colour and the sentiment die is from Gina Marie Designs

Have now started on Christmas cards and this one has to be my darkest ever - black card stock with an unbranded die, gold holographic sticker paper behind and the sentiment was a free die from a magazine.

And delivery this week - more unbranded dies from Wish - I am seriously addicted - when you only pay $2 for postage on some of them... if they don't arrive it is refunded. Then they turn up out of the blue 3 weeks after their delivery date - not every time but quite a bit!

Hope you all have a great week - I really did not get around to all of your lovely workdesks last week but will try again this week

Stay safe & well
Cheers
