Pastel Pretties

Using up some freebie border toppers from a craft magazine I decided to head down the butterfly flight path for some pastel birthday cards...

The pale purple base cards are a lot paler in the photos...

Materials used: Freebie border toppers from a craft magazine a few years old, Hero arts butterflies stamped on vellum using Dewdrop brilliance graphite ink & polysparkle ep, gold peel off sentiments coloured with black Kaiserfusion alcohol pen, butterflies coloured with Derwent Watercolour pencils and aquapens...

I am linking to the following challenges with these creations

Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes as long as its a birthday creation... this week as a topper you can add texture

Pixies Snippets Playground week 99 - where the ice is forming on the pond and is extra cool....

Addicted to Stamps and More #71 - Anything Goes

Flutter by Wednesdays  #261- Anything Goes as long as you have a butterfly or fairy on your project
