WOYWW - love being part of it - but not a jot of crafting happened over the last week!
We did however get my beautiful daughter a house and I have been doing the requisition of tiles and a builder and the planning for the renos before she moves in around mid June - so I am consumed with all of that. Plus creating an expenditure spreadsheet to keep track of everything - Project Manager I think is the term 😃 She got herself a beautiful black velvet bed and I just love the photo of her on it
Finally here is my desk
Still the cards from last week on my printer
Some choccy croissants to get me through the mornings
work laptop - still havent signd out - 8.30am start and finish - whenever usually round 7pm nowadays
raspberries to the left - they are not very good a bit old and manky - just delivered yesterday so will be requesting a refund for them 😀
and my trusty carousel
I did get a few goodies delivered - including salvaged patina distress ink pad - and guess what - I ordered it twice - so my sister will get one when she visits - or when I visit - whichever happens first.
I do want to participate in the ATC swap - and will work very hard for whoever will be my recipient to get it to you as soon as I can 😎
If anyone is interested in touring around the crafty and talented desks of the world pop on over to the Stamping Ground and feast your eyes
Cheers
stay safe & well

ReplyDeleteI've had a really manic morning with sewing so am late in the day joining in the celebrations. Thanks so much for your love and friendship for all these years my friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Your daughter look happy as a clam on her lovely new bed. Lucky her to have a mom who will help with the paperwork :D Hope you can get some crafty goodness on that desk to push the laptop off to the side. One day...
ReplyDeleteHappy 12th Anniversary to all my desk-hopping mates!

I believe this is the first time I've been to your blog, Maurs. Glad your daughter got a new home and a lovely bed. I love her hair. She's a beauty. And of course, I see you make beautiful cards, too. Happy 12th Anniversary from # 10.
ReplyDeleteI almost succumbed to the Salvaged Patina (Or Savage Potato as my friend calls it after she read it too quickly...) but it was similar to a couple of others I have. Some of them are so similar and yet there seems to be shades missing too! Gorgeous bed - I hope she settles well. Anyway, happy anniversary! Lisa-Jane, #2
ReplyDeleteHi Maurs, I thought I'd left you a comment but can't see it so I'm here again. Can you send me your Address so that I can post your ATC. You can use my Contact form on my blog if you wish. I had to smile when you said you'd ordered the ink twice I of course would never do that!!!!! Have a lovely creative WOYWW Anniversary. Hugs, Angela x25x
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of your daughter. Good luck with finding a builder - we are part way through renovations, but the builders etc are so busy that some of it wont be done until October. Happy 12th WOYWW Anniversary. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#15)

Ooh a black velvet bed - how luxurious, and what a lovely photo of your daughter on it. Chocolate croissants sounds delicious and make my toast seem rather boring!

How exciting that your daughter is getting her own place! I like working from home, but you're right sometimes it spills into my evenings, but I like the flexibility of doing my laundry during the day if I want to. I love chocolate croissants too - I haven't had them in absolute ages - I used to pick them up on my way to work. Happy anniversary - thanks for stopping by earlier to say hello! xx zsuzsa #17
ReplyDeleteHi. That bed is fabulous! Gorgeous photo of your daughter. Hope all goes well with everything. Thanks for popping by. Anne x 30
ReplyDeleteHappy 12th WOYWW!? Anniversary! Sorry I'm late!Hope Everything goes well with the house, what fun, post pictures! Oh, don't! Chocolate Croissants!? I love them, but I can't have them! Too much sugar! Salvaged Pantina, haven't found that yet...well, only on sites that say they've sold out. Hoping my not so local crafty shop will have it soon as he's a lot cheaper than Hobby Craft. keep crafting, Stay safe HApPy WoYww!? #5

Hi Maurs, sorry for the late visit! Happy 12th Anniversary. Not sure if I've visited your blog before - nice to 'meet' you if I haven't. Your daughter looks delighted with her bed. I hope the reno keeps to schedule so she can move in as planned. Your desk looks very similar to mine - work laptop, carousel (so handy). I don't have any chocolate croissants, I only ever have a cup of coffee at my desk. My craft room doubles up as my office, so am reluctant to spend my evenings in there crafting - hence me teaching myself to crochet about 6 months ago. A ball of wool and a crochet hook - can do that anywhere! Have a lovely week, Heather xx #20
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW ANNiVErsary! I was so sure I'd called in earlier! so I won't repeat myself as I can't remember what I said! So Stay safe !! Keep crafting! Lyn #5
ReplyDeleteHello Maurs ... how lovely to meet you all courtesy of our amazing Julia & blog-land! Thank you for popping by my blog last week & apologies for the late reply - goodness knows where time goes. You sound like you have your hands full project managing your daughters building work so no wonder you are not getting much crafting done ... one pair of hands and all that! Looking forward to chatting again, Love from Debbie xXx
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm - pain au chocolat... my mouth is watering... Thank you for the compliment on my blog this week about the Moose, he is such a handsome chappy.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have the renovations under full control - you definitely need a Project manager tee-shirt!
Happy WOYWW 624 (bit late getting round!)
