Count the days [problem solved]

I always seem to be my most creative after a WOYWW jaunt around the globe... but I didn't get any help from the "girls" [LOL] as to whether I should colour my beach huts or not - I finally decided to go halfway... sort of... I got myself a film strip die over the weekend and it leant itself to the purpose beautifully... although a bit rough around the edges...

Materials used: Fern Gully Stamps beach Houses, Twinkling H20's, vanilla Stampin Up cardstock, Black card snippets and white card from stash, EZ Cuts filmstrip die and PSX sentiment stamp, Tsukineko memories black ink.

I am linking up to the following challenges with this creation
The snippets Playground over at Pixies Crafty Workshop - there is heaps of room on the swings...

  3. The huts fit perfectly into the filmstrip die, it looks great! I think I'll be busy next time I visit you borrowing your new things, and yes I'll bring mine up to share :) Cathy x

  4. Really like these little huts tucked into your filmstrip. Your colors were so pretty & looked quite 'beachy'. Liked the sentiment you chose to pair with this image too. TFS

  5. Did I already comment? If not, this is nothing short of brilliant Maureen! It's a great twist on the 'spotlight' technique that's popular right now - and using the film die is absolutely great. Super image and a perfect sentiment too.
