WOYWW # 212

Hi Everyone...

Its Wednesday again - and it is my favourite time of the week cos it kick starts my mojo which seems to turn itself off on Mondays & Tuesdays...

I have been a busy little bee in other ways though - supplied all of my creations [105] to my cousin so he can put them in his shop for me - am hoping they sell well so I can stock up on more goodies recoup some of the costs involved with this fantastic all consuming hobby!!!

Just before we get to my little bit of desk - why not pop over to see  something sensational
- my sisters blog - Cathy's card spot - she has the art of using butterflies well and truly covered...

Now - my desk at the moment - I feel like I cheat cos I move everything out from a pile and spread it out for the photo's...

A few bits and pieces going on...

This free paper was stuck in the middle of a pile of books - so I thought I would liberate it and see what happens...

Xmas stuff still hanging around - I tested my dies on the old traditional red & green but ended up making cream and pink poinsettia cards - I guess these will get used up eventually... the xmas stuff is sitting on top of some card stock pads I grabbed from an arty shop called RIOT - reduced from $7.99 to $4.99 - its not suitable for a card base but it can go through a die machine and decorate a card no probs...

This is some of my "colour" stash - Twinkling H20's and metallic paints - H20's are in the drawers of my carousel too, some Kindyglitz and some Mica Powders - that I have never put to use!!

This is my bling drawer - both adhesive & non-adhesive - you can never have enough of this stuff...

And the actual project in progress right now - using my arboscello tree and some distressed card - still thinking...... hang on - there are no chocolates - what is the world coming to???

If you would like to visit creative desks around the globe pop on over to Stamping Ground where Julia hosts the very best blog hop in the world....

Thanks for stopping by... Mxx

  3. Mica powders are great! Send them down my way if they need a new home :)
There's often a kookaburra in the garden as we have (suburban) bush at the end of the street. They usually only laugh if there's a pack of them up in the trees and then they make a racket!
Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words re. those blue pages. Have a good week,

  9. SUCH a tidy space. Never been able to master that yet and don't think I ever will *sighs*.

Thank you for your kind comments on the canvas, I am pleased with the way it's looking so far, it's going to be part of a set of four and if the others turn out as good as this one is looking I'll be thrilled. i am going to post the finished piece on my blog and if I remember link it up next week so you all can see.

Thanks for dropping by and apologies for the late visit.

  14. A bling drawer? (Blimey, I sound like Miss Havisham there!) Surely every girl needs one of those...can I confess that I have several?! Considering I am fairly understated in my appearance, I do have an awful weakness for BLING, especially in earrings. I love em. The bigger and blingier the better!
