WOYWW #634

Another week flies by with no crafty stuff happening... this of course does not mean I / we were not busy!  Here is my work space

Paper work for Eliza House - even though she doesn't have a mortgage we had to explain that the bills will keep coming: Body Corporate, rates, water, electricity, internet...
I am also working through the warranties for all her new appliances:
A/C unit, dishwasher, dryer, oven, cook top, exhaust fan, TV, etc
My purse, glasses case and the obligatory face mask atop of the pile of paper work

My work earphones sporting the "busy bee" guide Eliza gave me
- it helps protect your cord where it plugs in to your phone.
A good old fashioned jar of vicks - am finally getting over my cold!
The lindt salted caramel square is the last from a packet bought 2 weeks ago
 - I don't know how it lasted this long 😎

Had to fire up my little printer for work this morning...
which meant finally moving all my stuff off and putting it all away

I will try again to pop round for a visit when I can
If you would like to join in the What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday fun head over to

Stay safe & well all
Cheers

  3. I loathe paperwork. Well done you for working to sort it. The Hubster has a double-sided scanner so we scan every scrap of paper and file it electronically, so it's searchable. Saves us fighting over how things get filed (front to back, by date, or back to front, in the CAR file or the INSURANCE file... you can imagine) and who has to retrieve something when it's needed LOL! I have a little green chameleon like you bee. He makes me smile every time...

    Happy cooler days Desk Hopping!

  4. Gosh you do sound busy - it's amazing how many bills and how much paperwork it takes to run a home - Eliza is very lucky to have you close by to help out. I hope you get some crafting time in soon,
    Have a good week,

  5. Yup, everything generates emails/paperwork/bills, it’s the biggest thing to realise when you’re a first time home owner, I’m glad all is going well for Eliza though! I swear by Vicks too, so you’re in good company and I’m impressed that you could resist those sweets for so long, I dont’ ahve will power like that unfortunately!!

  6. Hi Maureen. Is that an HP printer you have there? I have an HP, I wanted to sign up for instant ink, but apparently my printer is not eligible. The ink is getting so expensive I am thinking of getting a new one which comes with 6 months free ink and then going onto instant ink. I am glad you are finally getting over your cold. 8. The lindt salted caramel square sounds like something I might like! I use my printer as a dumping area as well. It still works with all the stuff on top, I can even open the scanner top. Flat surfaces is something we never have enough of, which is why everything ends up on the floor sooner or later! Have a lovely week! xx zsuzsa #16

  10. I hate it when paper work takes over... I've got to do some at the beginning of next month. I love the busy bee on your cord - never seen anything like that before! I have wireless earbuds for my iPad and listen to YouTube stuff most of the time when I'm busy with less interesing tasks. Sorry to hear you've had a cold too - mine last week was awful! Just a residual cough now. Hope you're over it soon.

Thank you for your comment last week and for your kind words! I'm glad you liked my various creations. More this week too.

  12. Looks all very organised!
We went to the bank today to transfer the money to pay for our block - and yesterday we went for a 'colour browse' to look at tiles etc. It will be a long time yet though...
    Happy WOYWW!
    Stay safe and keep well!

  13. Hi Maureen, I had to do a catch up on your posts because I've missed so much. Eliza's house seems to be coming along nicely, and I'm totally impressed with your project management skills. Buying a house is just the tip of an iceberg; once bought a house comes with all sorts of responsibilities, including the bills - Eliza will appreciate knowing this. Hope you find time to craft again soon. Elizabeth x #22
