Purple Bloom

Took ages to put this card together - started with yellow birds on white card nope... looked really bad so I grabbed an old ef impression from my stash - you know how you borrow a friends stuff and make mutliples "just in case"... I then painted the flowers purple - yuk that didnt work either...
but no worries just turn it over and start again... and then it finally started to come together LOL. Stick the yellow onto the misstamped white card - add a leftover Stampin Up die cut which was miss stamped at a card party on the back - I love recycling!! I coloured the edges with purple Twinkling H2o's and added a sticker from my stash - then a zig black pen was used to highlight the dots around the die cut. I finally decided to add a flower - so out came a couple of paper flowers, the twinkling H2o's again and some bling from my stash. The stem is part of a Marianne designs die. And there you have it - a fully recycled birthday card!!

I am entering into the following challenges this time:
At Simon Says Stamp it is their 4th Birthday so their challenge is a Birthday or Celebration card
Addicted to Stamps & more challenge #39 - it must be CAS!

Thanks for stopping by... Mxx

  4. Don't you just love it when you are trying to make a CAS card and it ends up taking you longer than a fancy layered card? lol I'm glad you were able to figure it out because I think this is just lovely. I love the colors you chose and the debossed background is so pretty. Thanks for playing at ATSM this week. :)

  5. You are a girl after my own heart. Fabby reuse of things that didn't quite go right the first time round. So long as the card never gets dismantled (as if anyone ever would) then whose to know. My lips are sealed! Hugs Mrs A.
