Peacock & Purple Flower Birthday

Peacok Distress ink on a pale purple card base was the naminy inspiration for this creation.

The dies left behind a black window frame - love double bubble opportunities.

The colours are way brighter IRLand the contrast with the black is super!

Fairy Happy Birthday

 

My very first Lavinia card... plus DP from my stash that went perfectly!

I have since purchased way too many Lavinia stamps!!

All Lavinia stamps in versa magic chalk black & white.  DP from my stash. Avocado liquid pearls, Faber castell pencils for the fairy wings and Glitzee glitter glue.

White Yellow Aster

 An any occasion card just in case... Birthday, Wedding, Thank You, Thinking of you...

I have used snippets of white for the aster, the die is unknown, two different washi tapes from Kmart snippet of yellow card on a pink card base & a yellow bling, yellow on the asters is Chameleon pen.

Hee Haw Birthday

 My baby turns 25 tomorrow...

This may seem like a jokey card - but my girl just loved the Stampin Up stamp set when she saw it as it reminds her of a donkey song she heard. Pink & Black are her favourite colours so the window frame from a left over card snippet (from a previous card) was perfect - the pink and colouring of the donkeys with Chameleon pens.  All mounted on a snippet of cream card then onto a square white card.

I just know she will love it.

Green Enjoy

A really quick card to brighten someone's day...

 I used Japanese rice paper which has gold throughout purchased a very long time ago, mounted it onto a piece of card using craft glue spread with a popstick to get it even. Let that dry and then mounted onto a light green card base.

Cut a label using Paper Rose Die - and stamped with a Mama Elephant sentiment in bright green ink.

I used a versa cube gold ink around the edges of the label as a highlight.

Koala Love

Got some really lovely Heartfelt Creations Stamps the other month - using one for the first time...

Cream card stock - I stamped the Koala on a cream mini card front and coloured it with Derwent watercolour pencils and blended with water. attached it to a snippet of Gum Leaf Green card.

The sentiment is Mama Elephant (A gift from my sister Cathy @ Cathy's Card Spot) 

Open up the mini card and the sentiment is a stamp free from a magazine.

Blue n White Candle Birthday

 We were off to a Greek Restauraunt for a lazy Sunday lunch when I had the inspiration to create this Birthday Card - The two shades of white adding a sharp contrast to the vibrant blue...

Cutout Floral Birthday

Dies make things so quick and easy - adding just a tinge of colour and Voila!! 

I have been buying dies from wish - I just cannot help myself - they are so tempting and pretty!
But there is no branding so I cant identify them and have to mark them all as Unknown...

This one is a floral side cutout which I have coloured with pink & yellow The Happy Birthday die - unknown also.

Rose Birthday

 

Roses - such a beautiful flowers and so many colours and perfumes... just lovely.

I used one of my Chameleon pens for this one - still getting used to the art of using them but like anything practise is fun... I then used a Chameleon pen fineliner to define the edges of the petals.

Fussy cutting is becoming a lost art I fear with all of the dies now available - but I am happy to fussy cut so I get right into the image and not have a "border" around things. In this case - there is no die that I know of for this stamp 😁

Circle Sentiment Birthday

 Using snippets of card to create is really satisfying.... as well as NBUS - Never Before Used Schtuff...

I fell in love with Creative Expressions Circle Sentiments Dies - after doing a project with the Friend Die at the start of this year - I am now getting to use one of my other dies for the first time - This one is the Birthday Die. They are quite large compared to my normal dies - but it makes it all the more fun working around them.

Square white card base, snippet of white - using brushes to apply the ink (Stampin Up) and then L Design scallopped circle die for the background, snippet of pink for the Birthday die cut, then tiny flowers from my stah to finish off.

Rainbow Friends

My little brain decided in December when I finished all my Christmas Cards that I would begin a project to finish out the year called Rainbow Friends. It took a bit longer to complete this than I anticipated... 

I asked significant friends what their favourite colours were - and then I began....  

While I worked on the words for the above insert I created cards reflecting the personality of each friend and their significance to me - in their favourite colour 

All creations used: NBUS - Creative Expressions Circle Sentiment Die - Friend

Label Die - unknown, Die'sire Upper & lower Alphabet dies, different coloured card snippets and ribbons from stash. Couture Creations 5x7 white card base. Foam squares, double sided tape in different widths, and white craft glue.

Red - A dream fulfilled by becoming a Mummy

this friend now glows with pride - so happy to now be known as Nanny M!

Red: NBUS - Paper rose stencil background using Rocket Red dewdrop ink.

NBUS - Kaisercraft Heart Border die.

Orange - A real crack up this friend goes walkabout all the time and does not like to do so on her own - always loves to be surrounded by happy people!

Yellow - A caring, generous and sweet person - one of my longest friends - 50 years and counting - we will be happy growing old and being crafty together!

Yellow / Green - One of my oldest "Boy" friends - again in the 50 year mark - he went from the fashion industry to a farmer - and I have a cow in my name - what more could a girl want!

Green - Working with this girl is easy - we share work and experiences - not all good - but support each other as needs - a young Mum with an adorable child and partner!

Silver & White Wedding Day

I don't have anyone to send a wedding card to at the moment - but I so love this heart die I just wanted to experiment 😎

I lay the card down to show the 3D of it and the sun came out - Ahhhh!!

 

Silver card stock, white card snippets and silver mirror card for the label.

I got the heart die online and it doesnt have a brand, NBUS - The Wedding Day sentiment is a Sizzlits die and the label is a Stampin Up die. All put together with double sided tape and foam dots.

Joy Love

 Simple - Clean - Re-cycling - NBUS ...

I received a birthday card in 2020 the face of which was almost completely gold glitter - so being one  not waste I cut out the NBUS - Kaisercraft ornaments die - Love & Joy from the card front. I then threaded gold ribbon from my stash through them and attached everything using foam dots and DS tape to the hammered white card stock.
